Removing The People Pain

Marianne Page

Can you remember the day you first learned about the amoeba? That blob of wobbly jelly with a black dot inside called the nucleus the heart or engine room of the thing.

Not a very scientific description I know, but the image has stuck in my head over the years, and Im pretty sure itll be in your minds eye right now.

But do you ever feel like that amoeba?

Like youre the nucleus in the middle of this unwieldy, uncontrollable lump of jelly called your life?

Theres been a lot of talk recently about the accidental manager, that person who finds themselves removed from what theyre really good at, to do something theyve little or no experience in, and for which theyre given no training managing people.

Some accidental managers are great if they have vision, if their natural tendency is to involve and empower people, if they lead by example and have great organisational skills they can build a great team. Someone whos bought in, heart and soul to the purpose of the business will often overcome any lack of training, and regularly deliver better results than those whove been taught how to manage, but have no passion.

Are you that accidental manager?

Did you get into business because of your passion for art, building, transforming peoples lives; are you skilled in design, in finance, in speaking to a group, but now find yourself with people to manage, and a whole range of overwhelming challenges?

Or maybe youve created accidental managers?

Youve ripped your best people from the comfort of what they excelled at, and told them theyre now responsible for managing a small team, maybe even just one other personwithout teaching them how to do it?

Do you have people pains in your business? Do you regularly lose whole days dealing with people issues? Do you go home at night needing to offload to your other half about how your team just dont work to the standards you expect?

If any of the above is true for you, youre certainly not alone. Its a bi-product of success that just seems to creep up on you. But the good news is, you can overcome it. You can learn simple strategies and simple skills that over time will build you that high performing team that we all want in our business.

The question is though, will you take the action you need to? Are you going to keep doing your best or transform what your best can be?

Take that first action today.

Do one thing: Download our free Busy Business Owners Guide to Removing the People Pain and learn the strategies for moving from chaos to consistency.

How long does it take to complete KPI?

The programme is built around a 12-month foundation year. This is the time it takes to build your full authority ecosystem. From there, many clients continue to compound their results year on year. Within 24 hours of joining, you'll get full access to the KPI platform. In your first week, you'll attend a group onboarding session where you'll learn how to navigate the platform, access your resources, subscribe to our event calendars, and book into your first Value Canvas Kickoff.

How long has Dent been doing this?

Over 5,500 businesses across 60+ industries in EMEA, the Americas, and Asia-Pacific have gone through our accelerators.

What is your mission?

Our mission is to produce Key People of Influence who stand out, scale up, and make an impact in the world.

What makes this different from programmes?

The biggest difference is that KPI is a production environment, not a course. You don't watch videos and hope something sticks. You build 15-17 real assets of influence — your book, your scorecard, your productised offer, your lead generation system — in structured 10-day sprints with live coaching. Every asset goes to market as you build it. Real feedback, real results, real revenue impact. And you're doing it alongside 5,500+ founders who've been through the same methodology.

Is Daniel Priestley involved in the programme?

Yes! Daniel is our CEO and Cofounder. He is one of the key minds behind every aspect of the KPI Accelerator. He occasionally runs workshops himself.
